Class E1 standards are used for:

- the calibration of class E2 weights according to OIML R111 up to 50kg.
- the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* greater than 1,000,000.
- the verification of class I weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.
the calibration of class weighing instruments I.

Class E2 standards are used for:

Handling / Maintenance / Storage of class E weights

Handling / Use : Zwiebel offers a complete series of accessories allowing you to use your weights in optimal conditions (tweezers, grip handles, gloves, etc.)

Maintenance : To ensure the reliability of your results, your weights must be regularly dusted. As the surface condition of the weights must not be modified in any way, we offer you accessories adapted to the maintenance of your weights such as brushes or cleaning kits.

Storage : It is recommended to store standard weights and masses in their original boxes. Standard weights and masses without a box should be stored in appropriate locations (laboratory conditions, under a bell jar, etc.).

CLASSE F

OIML WEIGHTS FROM 1mg TO 50kg CLASSES F1 AND F2 These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in the OIML international recommendation R111 “F1 weights from 1g are polished while those of class F2 are brushed. “

Areas of use for class F weights

Class F1 mass standards are used for:

the calibration of class F2 weights according to OIML R111 up to 5000kg.
the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* greater than 30,000.
the verification of class II weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.
the calibration of class weighing instruments II.

Class F2 mass standards are used for:

the calibration of class M1 weights according to OIML R111 up to 5000kg.
the calibration of weighing instruments whose number of scales* is greater than 10,000.
the verification of class II weighing instruments and whose number of scales* is between 10,000 and 30,000 depending on OIML R76 or EN 45501.
the calibration of class II weighing instruments whose number of scales* is between 10,000 and 30,000.

We are able to offer you a wide choice of quality weights and masses. We are therefore able to go further by offering you positive tolerance weights for the F1 class, ensuring increased longevity for their use.

CLASSE M

OIML WEIGHT FROM 1mg TO 50kg CLASSES M1, M2 AND M3

These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in international recommendation OIML R111.

Areas of use for class M weights

Class M1, M2, M3 standard weights are used for:

  • the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* of less than 10,000.

  • the verification of class III and IIII weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.

  • the calibration of class III and IIII weighing instruments.

METROLOGY MASSES

Industrial masses from 100kg to 2t – classes F and M

These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in international recommendation OIML R111. The

F1 and F2 classes masses are made of stainless steel, those of classes M are offered in painted cast iron, with or without feet depending on the nominal masses, stackable or not. Compact, practical and easy to handle, the heaviest masses can be handled by forklift or using slings.

AREAS OF USE OF INDUSTRIAL MASSES

Weighbridge (industry)
Above-ground weighbridge
Road-rail weighbridge
Axle weighing On-board
weighing

STORAGE

It is recommended to store industrial masses in appropriate locations (for example, do not expose the masses to dust and dirt, do not store them in a humid environment, etc.).

Suspended masses from 1g to 20kg – 1N to 200N – classes M

These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in international recommendation OIML R111

Two principles proposed by
Zwiebel :

Slotted masses with support :

The system is made up of a support with a hook (secure device) and different slotted masses which are positioned on the support in order to constitute an overall weight or a scale of value. The support is made of stainless steel, the slotted weights of brass. These masses can be adjusted in kilograms or Newtons.
Furthermore, the support can be adapted, in dimensions and nominal value, to your needs.

Weights with 1 or 2 hooks:

The masses can be hung individually in order to carry out the tests (1 hook) – The masses can be hung together (rosary) in order to carry out the tests at different values. These masses are made of stainless steel. (2 hooks)

AREAS OF USE OF INDUSTRIAL MASSES

Scale – Hook weigher – Dynamometer
Force – load tests (pantograph calibration)
Resistance and traction tests
Pressure and torque measurement

STORAGE

It is recommended to store the masses to be suspended in appropriate locations (for example, do not expose the masses to dust and dirt, do not store them in a humid environment, etc.).

STANDARD BASKET

Zwiebel also offers you standard baskets. Made of stainless steel, they make it possible to obtain a strong mass by combining parallelepiped weights of 5, 10 or 20kg.

Manipulatable by pallet pullers or slings, they favor linear measurements. A tailor-made solution that adapts to all areas to be controlled:
pallet weighers, floor scales, etc. Our baskets are adjusted and calibrated like any metrology mass.

We have
2 standard models of 40 and 50kg , classified M1 allowing to contain weights of 20kg for loads of 250 and 500kg in total.

We can also make any type of basket on request. We will need to define its weight and the desired total range (with rectangular masses of 5, 10 or 20kg in stainless steel or cast iron).

AREAS OF USE OF CLASS M BASKETS

Weighbridges
Industrial scales

STORAGE

It is advisable to store the baskets in appropriate places (for example do not expose the baskets to dust and dirt, do not store them in a humid environment, etc.).
